Duration of Stay:

With a single-entry tourist visa, you can stay in Tanzania for a maximum of 90consecutive days. A multiple-entry visa, valid for 1 year, requires leaving Tanzania every 90 days.

Visa on Arrival:

While it’s still possible to get a visa on arrival, the process can be time-consuming, especially due to waiting times. The fee must be paid in USD cash.

From the USA:
Delta Airlines, in partnership with KLM, offers direct daily flights from Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport to Kilimanjaro International Airport. KLM’s reputation for service and convenient flight times makes it a preferred choice.

From Europe:
KLM operates daily direct flights from Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport to Kilimanjaro International Airport, offering flexible options for European travellers.

From Asia:
Qatar Airways provides flights from Asian airports to Doha’s Hamad International Airport, then onward to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. From Nairobi, a Precision Air flight takes you to Kilimanjaro International Airport.

From Australia:
Emirates Airways offers flights from major Australian cities to Dubai, where you can connect to Nairobi. From Nairobi, a Precision Air flight takes you to Kilimanjaro International Airport.

Tanzanian International Airports:

Tanzania has three international airports: Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dares Salaam, Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), and Zanzibar Abeid Amani Karume Airport (ZNZ).
